Glenbrohane National School Parents Association

Parent’s Association

We have a very active Parents Association who hold regular meetings every term. The Parents Association are involved in fundraising for supporting the school. It is important to become involved in the Parents’ Association as it is an excellent link with the school. All children benefit from funds generated by the Parents’ Association.

All Parents are automatic members of the Parents’ Association and are entitled to attend meetings. It is also a way to meet parents of other children in the school.

Every year they hold a very successful quiz- the Marie Cormac Quiz. Over 20 primary school teams take part. The organisation of this quiz is a credit to the parents involved.

The Parents Association also organise a Communion Party after the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.

The Parents Association have organised many fundraising events in the past year to contribute to the cost of the swimming and school tour.
